Survive Support Work

Survive support work can be accessed before, after or instead of counselling and is available to survivors of sexual violence as well as their partners, friends and family members.

Survive's trained and knowledgeable support workers can provide emotional support, explore coping mechanisms and grounding techniques with you and discuss options for reporting or not reporting to the police. They offer 1-1 appointments every 2-4 weeks for up to six months (in person in Malton, online or over the phone). Referrals can be made using the online referral form and please mention Community Counselling in the final box on the form 'How did you hear about Survive?'.

Thanks to Lloyds Bank Foundation, Survive and Community Counselling are able to work together on this initiative to help adult survivors rebuild their lives after rape, sexual assault or child sexual abuse.
