Who can access the service?
Individuals aged 16 and over living in Ryedale, with presenting issues such as anxiety, bereavement, depression, and interpersonal/relationship issues which can be improved with brief counselling.
You can refer yourself using our online referral form above or be referred by your GP.

What Community Counselling provides
This service offers an initial triage assessment appointment with an experienced and qualified counsellor. We then aim to offer a first counselling appointment with one of our trainee practitioners as soon as possible.
We offer up to 8 weekly counselling sessions and these usually last 50 to 60 minutes. We offer face to face or remote (telephone or online) appointments.
