Who can access the service?

This free service is available to adults (18 or over) living in Scarborough or who are registered with a GP practice in Scarborough.

​

The service is suitable for clients presenting with the following:

  •  Anger

  • Mild to moderate Anxiety/Stress

  • Bereavement

  • Low self esteem/negative self image/feelings of being different

  • Personal development

  • Mild to moderate depression

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Sexuality

  • Significant life changes

  • Work-related issues

  • Disability/chronic ill health

What Community Counselling provides

We offer an initial assessment appointment to ensure the service is right for you followed by up to 10 weekly hour long counselling sessions. Sessions can be face to face at our rooms in Auborough Street or remote (telephone or online).
