DWP Trauma Counselling

This service is funded by the DWP (Department of Work and Pensions) to help those who are struggling at work

or to find work due to previous trauma.

Who can access the service?

​If you live in Ryedale or Scarborough (including Whitby and Filey) and have experienced trauma that has affected your ability to find or stay in work or training, you may be eligible for free therapeutic support through our DWP-funded project.

  • Do you live in Ryedale or Scarborough?

  • Experienced trauma?

  • Has the trauma impacted your employment or training journey?

 

If you have said yes to all of the points above then we may be able to offer you free counselling.

Please use the online referral form to refer yourself to us choosing DWP Trauma counselling in the service dropdown. If you are eligible we will contact you to arrange an assessment appointment followed by counselling.

Please note all clients referring to our services are asked to read and agree to the Client Contract and Client Consent Policy. Clients for DWP Work Trauma counselling service are asked to read and agree to this version of the Client Contract as we are required to share your information with third party commissioners funding the service.
