Please note that the counselling service is provided by trainee counsellors on a placement.
All of our trainee counsellors are undertaking approved training courses and have been signed off as fit to practice. They have also undergone a rigorous recruitment process before being offered a placement at Community Counselling. Trainee counsellors are fully supported during their time with us. The triage assessment is conducted by a qualified and experienced counsellor to ensure that we are the appropriate service.

As well as face-to-face sessions at Stanley Harrison House, we can offer clients remote counselling (online or over the telephone).

We ask that clients let us know if they have any access/mobility issues as our rooms are located on the first floor. There is a lift but there are still a few steps to negotiate, so we may need to make alternative arrangements.
